Wisconsin Family Business of the Year Awards program open for nominations
The 2023 Wisconsin family Business of the Year Award program is underway and accepting nominations from businesses throughout the state, according to a recent press release.
The award celebrates the accomplishments of family-owned businesses and the impact they have on communities, economy, and culture. Past nominees include multigenerational businesses across the state of Wisconsin and many that have been in business for nearly a century or more.
Three awards will be given to family businesses in the categories that follow:
- Small companies, between 25–100 employees;
- Medium companies, between 100–250 employees; and
- Large companies with more than 250 employees.
Special awards will be given to businesses that excel in specified areas. Nominations can be made on behalf of the business by consultants, vendors, clients, or friends, and self-nominations are encouraged. An independent panel of judges will select the award recipients.
The deadline for nominations is Wednesday, May 31, and winners will be announced live at the gala event on Thursday, Sept. 21.
