United Way raises $18.1 million

United Way of Dane County raised $18.1 million with its 2021 community fundraising campaign. The donations were raised from more than 20,000 individuals and 500 businesses across Dane County. The funds will support more than 850 nonprofits — including 112 programs  and 52 local agencies that work to address the greatest needs in areas including education, income, and health. The United Way of Dane County is a 100-year-old organization working collaboratively with local nonprofits, businesses, community leaders, donors, and volunteers to solve problems facing the community.
