Summit to open branch at One City Schools

One City Schools and Summit Credit Union announced that the credit union will open a student-run branch for students, families, employees, and other members of the One City Schools community at the new Pleasant T. Rowland Leadership Campus, 1707 W. Broadway St. Summit will contribute $75,000 toward building the branch in the school and will work with students to increase financial literacy upon graduation.

The One City Schools’ branch will be the fifth in-school Summit branch in Madison and will join those in West, East, La Follette, and Memorial high schools. One City Schools offers a preschool for children ages 2 through 4K at its 2012 Fisher St. site. In the fall of 2022, students in One City Elementary School (grades 5K through 5th grade) and One City Preparatory Academy (grades 6, 9, and 10) will attend classes at the Rowland campus.
