HopCat Madison has closed its near-State Street location, at 222 W. Gorham St., but will keep two Michigan locations open, according to a story from the Wisconsin State Journal.

The Michigan-based parent company to the $3.3 million restaurant and craft beer bar filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in June, allowing it to continue operations while developing a plan to pay creditors. HopCat has been closed since mid-March due to COVID-19 restrictions, but the company decided to not reopen this and several other locations outside of Michigan.
