Progress Center for Black Women launches incubator program

Intending to help Black entrepreneurs, the Progress Center for Black Women announced the launch of the F.O.C.U.S. (Fundamentals, Opportunities, Consistency, Understanding, Success) business incubator program on Sunday, April 24, from 4–6 p.m. at its coworking space at 30 W. Mifflin St. The program is open to members of the Progress Center and will offer entrepreneurs the chance to win one of three cash prizes. The 12-week F.O.C.U.S. program is designed to help Black entrepreneurs get focused on key aspects of running their businesses while providing a supportive community, master classes, technical training, resources, and mentorship while connecting them to Dane County’s entrepreneurial ecosystem.
