New Orleans-inspired Fitchburg restaurant to open later this month

A new restaurant called St. Charles Station is set to open in Fitchburg on July 20, according to the Wisconsin State Journal.

Construction on the space, located at 2951 Triverton Pike Drive, has taken about a year and includes the installation of several planter beds around the restaurant to grow crops that will be incorporated in the menu items.

The restaurant will serve seasonal fine-dining fare in the New Orleans tradition of the owner’s former Liliana’s restaurant. It is the second restaurant to open in what was the Liliana’s space for 15 years, after Ollie’s, which opened in December.
