New Mexican restaurant opens in Waunakee 

A new Mexican restaurant, Locos Casa Club, has opened in Waunakee at 350 N. Century Ave. adjoining Par Bar, according to the Waunakee Tribune. The two businesses share a kitchen run by chef Pablo Valencia, who opened the new restaurant with América Silva and Andrew Ghelfi.

On June 30, the restaurant launched its full menu after offering a limited menu upon opening. Locos Casa Club serves traditional Mexican cuisine and pays homage to Valencia’s Aztec lineage. Hours run from 9 a.m.–9 p.m. Monday–Friday.

The restaurant has also developed local partnerships, serving bread from Madison’s El Hornito bakery and traditional ice cream from Paradise Ice Cream in Monona.
