Gaming venue with escape room, laser tag to open on Madison’s far west side

A new gaming venue called Spare Time Madison is coming to the city’s far west side later this year and will feature bowling, laser tag, escape rooms, arcade games, and a full-service restaurant, according to the Wisconsin State Journal. It also plans to host corporate and private events.

The venue will be located at 7415 Mineral Point Road, occupying a 50,000-square-foot section of the former Shopko near West Towne Mall. The company operating it, Spare Time Entertainment, has 18 game venues nationwide. The Madison site will be the company’s first Wisconsin location.
