Capital Brewery hosts School Tools 4 Kids fundraiser 

According to Channel 3000, Capital Brewery hosted a fundraising event yesterday called School Tools 4 Kids that benefited nonprofit WayForward.

The event, which collected school supplies and donations for children in the area ahead of the upcoming school year, featured local band The Tent Show Troubadours for five hours of live music and drinks in the brewery’s biergarten.

WayForward last year collected over 500 backpacks for students from kindergarten- to college-age. The organization’s goal is to match that this fall.
