Over 40 Wisconsin manufacturers — including two Dane County companies, Endres Manufacturing and Royle Printing — were named finalists for the 37th annual Manufacturer of the Year Awards, which recognizes the state’s top manufacturers in various sectors.
“The finalists represent the diversity and power of Wisconsin’s manufacturing industry and its wide-reaching impact,” Wisconsin Manufacturers & Commerce, which sponsors the awards with Baker Tilly and Michael Best & Fredrich, said in a statement.
Four Grand Award winners will be recognized for their performance. And this year, a Spotlight Award track is being introduced to recognize specialized excellence in a specific benchmark.
Spotlight Awards will be awarded in four categories: business resilience and growth, community impact and investment, excellence in product and process innovation and commitment to workforce.
Winners will be announced at a ceremony on Feb. 19 at the Pfister Hotel in Milwaukee.
Wisconsin manufacturing companies generate $73.7 billion in economic output each year and employ one in six Wisconsinites.
