More than 140 people are losing their jobs due to the closings of manufacturing operations in Tomahawk and Marshfield, according to a report by Wisconsin Public Radio.
The closures will eliminate 68 positions at Foremost Farms USA’s cheese plant in Marshfield, and 76 jobs from the Samuel Pressure Vessel facility in Tomahawk, which makes specialized metal tanks.
They are among 33 manufacturing locations that have closed in Wisconsin this year, according to the Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development.
