Law enforcement recovers 4,000 fentanyl pills in Janesville, Dane County

Law enforcement, comprising federal, state, and local agencies, successfully confiscated over 4,000 imitation prescription pills containing fentanyl, according to a report from the Wisconsin State Journal.

The operation, conducted through search warrants at two locations in Janesville and another in Dane County, resulted in the seizure of the fake pills, a pound of marijuana, four handguns, and approximately $13,000 in cash. A 25-year-old Janesville resident was arrested during the inquiry and now faces potential charges related to firearms and drug offenses.

The collaborative investigation involves the Drug Enforcement Agency, the Wisconsin Division of Criminal Investigation, and the Janesville police.
