Inside Peek: Tri-North Builders
This week IBTV goes behind the scenes to explore sustainable buildings and the LEED certification process with Tri-North Builders, the “Green Building Leader.” In this interview with Tri-North Builders President and CEO Tom Thayer, we hear about the trends in green building and why every building is moving toward being a green building. We also get an inside view of the Tri-North Builders corporate headquarters, a gold certified LEED building with features like tiles from recycled glass, sustainable bamboo wood floors, significant amounts of natural lighting, low-flow water systems, and high-energy-efficiency HVAC systems. For more information on green building, visit the Wisconsin Green Building Council or the U.S. Green Building Council websites.

Inside Peek: The Kitchen Gallery
This week IBTV goes behind the scenes to visit The Kitchen Gallery on King Street. The Kitchen Gallery recently relocated from Williamson Street to create more space for an expanded product line and to add a kitchen for future cooking classes. The new location capitalizes on the advantages of being located downtown near the Farmers Market, a concentration of urban “foodies,” and a wide range of restaurants. The store prides itself on being a “gallery” where you can find “better” and “best” products for use in the kitchen.
