X-ES to move from Middleton to Madison
Extreme Engineering Solutions, or X-ES, is looking to move into the far west side of Madison from its current location in Middleton.
According to the Wisconsin State Journal, the company wants to build a $15.4 million, 120,000-square-foot building in the Silicon Prairie Business Park, tripling its current space.
X-ES makes rugged computers suitable for use by the military, in health care, or in extreme temperatures. It is asking the city for $595,000 in tax incremental financing to help pay for the new building and hopes to move in the summer of 2018.
The company was founded in 2002 and now has 170 full-time employees.
