Wisconsin AI Summit to look at commercializing data solutions
The first day will be an in-person event with an array of industry, university, and military thought leaders exposing product development needs and challenges across key Wisconsin sectors. Audience members will get one-on-one coaching as they prepare initial executive summaries and project pitches for federal agencies interested in piloting AI/ML applications. Day two is a series of virtual panels featuring agency experts highlighting programs and funding strategies.
Attendees will learn about emerging innovation needs, federal funding opportunities, and key resources to develop competitive proposals with these emerging technologies. Companies and early-stage teams will have a chance to network with leaders at Northwestern Mutual Data Science Institute, Connected Systems Institute, Kairos, and federal agencies including NSF, NIH, and DoD.
Throughout 2023, the CTC will also host follow-up events and one-on-one training to continue development of competitive funding proposals via the federal Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) program. Additional events include pitch events, one-on-ones, a proposal accelerator, workshops, and more.
