What’s Wisconsin’s coolest thing?

A contest to determine the Coolest Thing Made In Wisconsin resulted in the Oshkosh Corp.’s Joint Light Tactical Vehicle getting the most votes and taking the top prize.

This was the second year for the statewide contest run by Wisconsin Manufacturers & Commerce (WMC) and sponsored by Johnson Financial Group to showcase manufactured products made in the Badger State.

The JLT vehicle was one of four finalists in the bracketed competition that began in August, including Generac’s XC Generator, Mercury Marine’s Joystick Piloting System, and Ariens Company’s Sno-Thro. Over 200,000 votes were cast over the course of about two months.

Last year’s winner was Harley Davidson’s Milwaukee-Eight engine.
