WFAA receives $4.28 million commitment to UW programs

Donors Jere and Anne Fluno have committed $4.28 million to create the Jere D. Fluno Distinguished Chair in Accounting in the Wisconsin School of Business, plus cancer research and UW athletics, according to a release from the Wisconsin Foundation and Alumni Association (WFAA). The gift earmarks $3 million for the Wisconsin School of Business, $1,030,000 for UW’s Carbone Cancer Center, and $250,000 for UW athletics to support the naming of the Camp Randall field in honor of Barry Alvarez. The Flunos are longtime supporters of UW–Madison.
