WEDC launches grant program for entrepreneurs
The Wisconsin Economic Development Corp. (WEDC) has established the Entrepreneurship Support program to encourage nonprofits and communities statewide to promote entrepreneurship. Grants of between $10,000 and $100,000 are available.
“The program is intended to bring new services to regions where there are still gaps, and to increase the impact of services where they are available,” notes Aaron Hager, vice president of entrepreneurship and innovation for WEDC, in a release.
Up to $500,000 in funding will be available and applicants must match the grant amounts.
Applications are due by Oct. 31. Information can be found at InWisconsin.com/espilot.
