Wausau woman sentenced for running massage parlor prostitution ring

A Wausau woman will spend two years on probation for a 2019 prostitution criminal case that shut down two Eau Claire massage businesses that she operated, according to a report from the Eau Claire Leader-Telegram.

Dongmei L. Greer, 59, pleaded no contest to a felony count of keeping a place of prostitution. As a condition of her probation, Greer was given the option to spend 30 days in jail or perform 240 hours of community service. She must also undergo any recommended programming or evaluations.

Greer was the license holder for the two former businesses, Lucky Massage and Angel Massage, at the center of a three-month Eau Claire police sting after a number of clients reported being offered and/or receiving sexual services from employees at the businesses. During the investigation, authorities found 223 customers visited Angel Massage during a one-month period, only one of whom was female.
