Waunakee Plan Commission postpones Badgerland Properties construction

On May 8, the Waunakee Plan Commission voted to postpone a Badgerland Properties proposal to construct two new office buildings in the Waunakee Business Park, according to the Waunakee Tribune.

The buildings would be constructed in a two-phase approach and located off Frank H Street. The first office building would be 13,354 square feet in size and face Highway 19, with a two-story front and three-story rear façade.

The second building would be 12,280 square feet, face Frank H Street, and serve as a flex space that includes an office or showroom as well as warehouse or storage spaces.

Storm water management, lighting, and landscaping plans have yet to be submitted for review. Building materials have also been cited as a topic of discussion for approval.

The business park board would also need to approve the building designs; additional materials from the applicant will be evaluated at the commission’s June 12 meeting.
