Wall gets control of Bishops Bay

Madison developer Terrence R. Wall will assume control of Bishops Bay, a planned Middleton subdivision that he developed and pitched in 2011 when he was CEO of T. Wall Properties, the commercial real estate and property management company he founded in 1989. Last year, a board vote replaced him as CEO, and Wall went on to form T. Wall Enterprises, a new company focusing on luxury apartment development.

On a 4-0 vote with Wall recusing himself, the T. Wall Properties board voted to transfer ownership and management of Bishops Bay to its primary shareholders. Wall is the largest investor in a master limited partnership that owns 98% of T. Wall Properties’ stock.

T. Wall Properties no longer has any association with the Bishops Bay development. Terrence Wall will continue to run T. Wall Enterprises but will also take over the Bishops Bay project, which is expected to add housing for 6,000 people in seven designed neighborhoods over the next 10 years.
