Verona brewpub closes after nearly 5 years
Boulder Brewpub, a Verona establishment that opened in May 2018, has closed, the Wisconsin State Journal announced.
No information was provided by the brewpub’s former general manager regarding the reasons for the closure. The brewpub’s aesthetic and atmosphere were influenced by the beauty and architecture of Colorado, according to its website, offering a casual dining experience focused on quality food and beer. The lodge look, large windows, and natural light provided inspiration for the name Boulder, according to another former manager.
According to a 2018 story in the Wisconsin State Journal, a longtime customer took over the 950 Kimball Lane establishment, which was home to Gray’s Tied House for 12 years prior, and turned it into Boulder Brewpub.
