UW rehab hospital planned

UW Hospital announced a joint venture with Centerre Healthcare Corp. of Nashville, Tenn. to construct a 50-bed rehabilitation hospital across the street from UW’s new east side health complex, which broke ground in April. The rehab facility is expected to cost about $20 million. Land must still be purchased and approvals sought, but UW hopes to start work on the rehab hospital this fall, with both projects completed in 2015.
