UW Health breaks ground on new hospital

UW Health has broken ground on a new $220 million hospital in The American Center business park, according to a release. The 486,000-sq.-ft. hospital, built on 42 acres, will offer 56 beds, a clinic and wellness center, an emergency room, and a helipad. It will open in 2015, and future expansion up to 84 beds is likely.
