United Way of Dane County accepting applications for 2023 Micro-Investment Grants Initiative
United Way of Dane County’s Community Engagement Committee (CEC) and Community Impact Advisor’s Council (CIAC) announced the availability of $25,000 in grant funding, made available through its 2023 Micro-Investment Grants Initiative, according to a news release.
Beginning March 17, UWDC will begin accepting proposals, with applications due by 11:59 p.m. on April 10. At this time, UWDC is accepting proposals and requests for up to $5,000 from grassroots organizations — community groups, nonprofit agencies, faith-based organizations, and other groups (with an annual operating budget of $50,000 or less) — that are working to achieve racial equity and/or social justice for Black, Indigenous, Latinx, Southeast Asian, or individuals and/or families of color in Dane County. The timeline is as follows:
- March 17: Application opens
- April 10: Application closes at 11:59 p.m.
- May 23: Funding decisions approved by United Way of Dane County Board of Directors
- May 24–27: Recipients notified
- May 31: Recipients publicly announced
