Two Dane County manufacturers among MOTY nominees
Automation Components of Middleton and EVCO Plastics of DeForest are among 34 Wisconsin businesses nominated for the annual Wisconsin Manufacturer of the Year Awards.
The 26th annual program recognizes a variety of manufacturers that demonstrate innovative workforce practices. The Dane County companies will compete against manufacturers such as Plexus Corp. in Neenah, Mercury Marine in Fond du Lac, and Super Steel, LLC in Milwaukee.
Winners will be announced during a Feb. 27 ceremony at the Pfister Hotel in Milwaukee. The program is sponsored by Wisconsin Manufacturers & Commerce, the accounting and advisory firm Baker Tilly Virchow Krause, and the law firm Michael Best & Friedrich.
