Texas travel center proposes location in DeForest

Buc-ee’s, a roadside staple in Texas, is proposing to open a new location in DeForest, according to a report from Channel3000.

The chain operates 57 locations across Texas and other states. DeForest would be the first Buc-ee’s location in Wisconsin.

The travel center would be located near I-39/90/94, on a stretch of undeveloped land north of County Highway V and east of County Highway I. It would feature 120 gas pumps, 613 parking spaces, and a 73,000-square-foot store.
