Taco Bell to offer beer, wine on State Street
Madison’s Alcohol License Review Committee approved a license granting a Taco Bell permission to serve alcohol.
According to the Wisconsin State Journal, the Taco Bell Cantina brand, to be located at 534 State St., would add beer and wine to standard offerings of tacos and enchiladas.
The fast-food restaurant would have to stop serving alcohol at 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday evenings, and at 11 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays. The City Council and mayor still need to vote on the license approval.
The ALRC also approved licenses for Total Wine, which is coming to West Towne Mall, and for Brennan’s Cellars, reopening at the site of a former Brennan’s Market on Watts Road.
