Survey: UW among nation's best values in higher ed

Kiplinger’s Personal Finance ranks UW-Madison as one of the nation’s top 10 best values in higher education, based on its annual survey of nearly 600 four-year public colleges and universities. UW came in at number eight, behind North Carolina-Chapel Hill, Virginia, Florida, William and Mary, UCLA, Michigan, and Maryland. UW jumped up five spots from 2012. North Carolina has topped the list for the past 12 years.
