SupraNet upgrades Dane County Regional Wi-Fi

SupraNet Communications announced the successful implementation of Wi-Fi 6 at the Dane County Regional Airport (DCRA) in a news release yesterday. The upgrade is a major step in SupraNet’s commitment to improving the free airport Wi-Fi service and sets new standards for airport connectivity.

The Wi-Fi 6 upgrade offers many benefits to the airport and its passengers, including:

  • Symmetrical speeds of 250×250 Mbps for improved virtual meeting connectivity;
  • Enhanced wireless network stability;
  • Improved security features, providing better protection for users and their personal information;
  • Support for more simultaneous connections, accommodating the growing demand for increased streaming content and downloading media before flights; and
  • Less power usage than previous standards, improving battery life for mobile devices.
