Sun Prairie teams with Habitat to build affordable housing

Using a grant from the Wisconsin Department of Administration, the city of Sun Prairie is partnering with Habitat for Humanity of Dane County to build housing for families, according to a WMTV-NBC 15 report. Funds from the Community Development Block Grant Disaster Recovery (CDBG-DR) program will help build 10 new affordable, single-family residences for low- to moderate-income families in Sun Prairie. The disaster flood that impacted Dane County in 2018 qualified the county for flexible CDBG-DR funds from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.
