Summit Credit Union to acquire Milwaukee CU

Summit Credit Union of Madison will take the Greater Milwaukee Credit Union of West Allis under its wing on Dec. 1, pending regulatory approval. GMCU has $14 million in assets, and its 2,000 members are employees of the U.S. government, U.S. Postal Service, and the state of Wisconsin. After the merger is completed, GMCU will become Summit’s fifth Milwaukee-area location.
