Summerfest 2023 headliners revealed

Summerfest is celebrating its 55th anniversary in 2023, and the event organizers released the names of more than 100 headlining acts for the event scheduled for June 22–24, June 29–July 1 and July 6–8, according to a report from the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.

Among the acts revealed Thursday are Gryffin (June 22), Sofi Tukker (June 23), Vance Joy (June 29), Joe Russo’s Almost Dead (June 30), Brett Young (July 1), The Pretty Reckless (July 7), and Fleet Foxes (July 8), with the closing headliner July 6 to be announced.

This year’s headliners, who will perform across seven stages at Maier Festival Park, range from singer-songwriter Noah Kahan to University of Wisconsin–Madison graduate and tongue-in-cheek rapper Yung Gravy to Oscar-winning hip-hop veterans Three 6 Mafia to indie-rock royalty Fleet Foxes, The War on Drugs, and Japanese Breakfast.

Also performing during Summerfest will be Smokey Robinson, Tyler Hubbard (formerly of Florida Georgia Line), and Jack Antonoff’s band Bleachers. More headliners will be announced in the coming weeks. The full lineup and schedule, expected to feature around 800 acts, the majority based in Wisconsin, should be released in May.
