Summer travel resumes, but with staffing shortages

Now that travel has been deemed safer, people are planning summer vacations in great numbers, according to a report from the Wisconsin State Journal. However, a severe worker shortage will result in hassles and obstacles for travelers. Lifeguards and hotel housekeepers are two positions, among many others, that are in short supply. Travelers should expect delays, limited menu options at restaurants, long wait lines for check-ins at hotels and airports, and limited rides and food at theme parks.
