Stoughton City Council approves new residential development

In a June 13 meeting, the Stoughton City Council unanimously approved a general development plan and developer’s agreement for a new residential development by Eldon Homes, according to the Stoughton Courier Hub.

The council amended the zoning classification for certain properties within the development from rural holding to single family zoning types.

The first phase of the development, called Magnolia Springs, will occur in the South Page Street and Orchid Street area with the beginning of infrastructure work, and construction could begin later this year.
