Stemina Biomarker Discovery to receive BrightStar funds

Stemina Biomarker Discovery, Inc., of Madison is one of three Wisconsin firms receiving an initial round of funding from the BrightStar Wisconsin Foundation, a nonprofit organization that aims to spur job growth through investment in early stage companies. Also receiving investments are Engineered Propulsion Systems, Inc., New Richmond, and 425, Inc., Mount Pleasant. The investments total more than $250,000 and represent the foundation’s first major funding projects. Founded in 2006, Stemina Biomarker Discovery develops molecular biomarkers to improve drug safety.
