Springs Window Fashions sold
Middleton-based Springs Window Fashions has been acquired by Clearlake Capital Group, according to a release from the company. Springs Window Fashions, a provider of custom window covering products, is a portfolio company of AEA Investors LP (AEA) and British Columbia Investment Management Corp. (BCI). Clearlake Capital Group, AEA, and BCI have entered into a definitive agreement for Clearlake to acquire Springs and keep the Springs management team after the closing of the transaction.
Springs’ suite of brands includes Graber, Horizons, Bali, Mecho, and SWFcontract. Clearlake is an investment firm founded in 2006 with offices in California and Texas. The acquisition is subject to customary regulatory approvals and is expected to close in the third quarter of 2021.
