Spinoff of Los Atlantes Mexican Restaurant opens in Verona

Los Atlantes Mexican Restaurant & Bakery, which opened in early 2017 on Madison’s southwest side, now has a sister restaurant in Verona owned by the son of the main location’s owners, according to a report from the Wisconsin State Journal.

Jonathan Falcon, 21, opened Taqueria Los Atlantes Mexican Restaurant Dec. 20 at 300 S. Main St., at the former location of AJ’s Pizzeria & Diner.

Taqueria Los Atlantes is serving the same menu as Los Atlantes and includes tacos, burritos, enchiladas, tortas, gorditas, quesadillas, pozole, fajitas, a lamb plate, chicken mole, and a cod or tilapia fish fry.

The Verona restaurant is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
