SPEF announces annual Keys to the Future fundraiser
On Aug. 27, the Sun Prairie Education Foundation (SPEF) will host its Keys to the Future fundraiser at The Loft at 132, according to the Sun Prairie Star. The event will run from 4–8 p.m. and include a dinner courtesy of Salvatore’s, games, and raffles.
The event is SPEF’s largest annual fundraiser and benefits children in Sun Prairie by increasing access to resources. Among prizes for auction are a dinner at Salvatore’s, a pig roast for 75 people, graduation tickets for each East and West high schools, a plane ride from Gary Hebl, and more.
Tickets are first come, first serve for up to 250 attendees and can be purchased online. The event currently has 22 sponsors, including platinum sponsor Bank of Sun Prairie.
Since its formation in 2005, the SPEF has given nearly $1 million through its semi-annual grant process with the mission to enhance educational opportunities in the Sun Prairie Area School District.
