Southwest restores nonstop flights to Kansas City

Southwest Airlines has announced that it will restore nonstop service between Milwaukee Mitchell International Airport (MKE) and Kansas City International Airport (MCI) next summer. The service will begin July 11, 2023 and will be offered on a year-round basis every day of the week except Saturdays.

Flights from Milwaukee to Kansas City will depart at 12:50 p.m. and arrive at 3:10 p.m. Return flights will depart Kansas City at 2:15 p.m. and arrive in Milwaukee at 4:40 p.m.

Southwest also announced that it will fly additional daily flight frequencies between Milwaukee and four other existing nonstop destinations: Atlanta, Baltimore, Denver, and Las Vegas. Additional weekend flights will also be offered to Dallas-Love, Nashville, St. Louis, and Washington, D.C. The new schedule also gives Milwaukee travelers access to easy one-stop connections to four destinations in Hawaii.

All the new flights will begin with the July 11, 2023 schedule and are available for purchase now at southwest.com or the Southwest mobile app.
