Social Good Summit to be held Aug. 18

The Social Good Summit, a conversation to focus on entrepreneurs, employers, and employees for developing better workplaces, will be held Aug. 18 at 10 a.m. at the Madison Public Library–Central at 201 West Mifflin St. The event, titled “The Care You Give: The Immediacy and Future of Work,” will explore ideas to create businesses and jobs where people want to work. Seven panelists, each working in various ways to transform work and workplaces, will provide insights and ideas that businesses can to explore and respond to. Panelists are:

  • Annette Miller, CEO at EQT By Design; 
  • Baltazar de Anda-Santana, co-founder and executive director at Latino Academy of Workforce Development; 
  • Brandi Grayson, founder and CEO at Urban Triage Inc.; 
  • Genia Stevens, founder and executive director of Rock County Jumpstart; 
  • Laneice McGee, speaker, author, district director at Comprehensive Job Center; 
  • Tara Wilhelmi, founder and peer specialist at EOTO Culturally Rooted; and 
  • Zach Brandon, president of Greater Madison Chamber of Commerce.
