Sequoia ramen, sushi to open in shuttered Brocach spot

The space formerly known as Brocach at 1843 Monroe St. will become a sushi and ramen restaurant soon.

According to a Capital Times report, Sequoia Ramen and Sushi will open in mid June. The owner, Zhiqiang “Zach” Li, says it will be a sister restaurant to Nam’s Noodle and Karaoke Bar on Regent Street, owned by the same family.

The Monroe Street Brocach location closed in late 2018, while news broke last week that another Brocach location, on the Capitol Square, at 7 W. Main St., was closing April 7.
