Second Foxconn exec leaves

Last year, Terry Gou, Foxconn founder and chairman, stepped down from the day-to-day responsibilities of running the technology company to launch an ultimately unsuccessful run for president of Taiwan.

Now comes word that Louis Woo, the face of Foxconn in Wisconsin after Gou left, also has relinquished his project responsibilities due to “personal matters.” It is not known at this time how long Woo will be out, or if he will return at all, according to a Racine Journal Times report.

Foxconn broke ground on its southeastern Wisconsin manufacturing campus in 2018.
