Schwinn launches Let’s Play Bikes campaign 

Schwinn has announced a new campaign, Let’s Play Bikes, this May to coincide with National Bike Month, according to a press release. The campaign aims to support parents and caregivers in promoting outdoor, active play for children. 

Schwinn will be accepting kids bicycle donations on May 20 at its headquarters, located at 4902 Hammersly Road. Donations will be welcome from 12–4 p.m. 

On May 24, from 1–4 p.m., Schwinn executives and employees, along with Free Bikes 4 Kidz, will build over 50 brand new kids’ bikes, tune and clean donated bikes, and deliver them to Free Bikes 4 Kidz members. 

Starting June 1, Schwinn will also launch the SchwinnSmartStart Scholarship contest, in which consumers can enter photographs of their children riding a bike throughout the month for a chance to win a $10,000 scholarship. Rules and eligibility requirements are available online.
