Promega to open new building in Fitchburg

Promega Corp., the Fitchburg maker of biotech tools, is opening a new building focused on shipping its products to its branches and distributors worldwide.

According to the Wisconsin State Journal, the Kepler Center is located at 5455 Nobel Drive, in the Fitchburg Technology Campus.

The 126,000-square-foot building is nearly complete and will consolidate Promega’s warehouse and distribution facilities, the State Journal reports.

The Kepler Center will be home to about 75 employees, though workers have so far been shifted from other locations rather than being hired new.
