Poll: Most employees to seek new jobs in 2014

A poll by Right Management, the talent and career management workforce within the ManpowerGroup, reports that 83% of North American employees plan to actively seek a new job in 2014. That’s down slightly from 2012, when 86% said they planned to seek a new opportunity in 2013. According to this latest poll, only 5% of employees surveyed say they plan to stay in their current jobs, with 9% suggesting they may look for new jobs in 2014 and are networking. Right Management surveyed 871 employees in the U.S. and Canada between Oct. 16 and Nov. 15.
