Poke Poke closing Saturday

According to the Wisconsin State Journal, Poke Poke, a Gateway Mall restaurant on Williamson Street open since April 2018, will be closing this Saturday. Owner Mike Wang has stated he is looking for a new location, likely around the Capitol Square, but will also offer Poke Poke menu items at his other Williamson Street restaurant, FEAST Artisan Dumpling and Tea House, starting May 1.

The majority of Poke Poke’s business has been comprised of online takeout orders over the past three years, which has prompted Wang to reevaluate his current business plan and seek other options.
