Pegasus Games to close in November

Madison’s gaming industry is losing a longstanding, foundational player. Having failed to find a buyer after attracting some initial interest, Pegasus Games will close in November, according to an article in the Wisconsin State Journal.

Pegasus, Wisconsin’s oldest gaming store, has been in business for 39 years, having opened in downtown Madison in 1980. Now located in the Market Square Shopping Center, 6640 Odana Road, its last day of business will be on Sunday, Nov. 17. A clearance sale has begun and starting Sunday, Oct. 27, store hours will be reduced to 11 a.m.–7 p.m. with no evening gaming.

The store is co-owned by Lory Aitken and Mark Anderson, who announced the closing on the store's Facebook page.
