Pandemic Photography Exhibition

“Driftless Strong: Facing Historic Times Together and Apart,” a community photography exhibition, debuted in the Driftless Historium Walk-up Gallery in Mount Horeb on Saturday, Oct. 3 and will be viewable daily through Wednesday, Nov. 11, 2020.

“Driftless Strong” features nearly 40 photographs shared by 18 western Dane County residents, capturing the new routines, moments, and emotions that make up 2020’s unexpected and historic coronavirus era.

The Driftless Historium Walk-up Gallery (100 S. 2nd St, Mt. Horeb) takes advantage of the 1886 Gilbertson Hardware Store’s large plate glass storefront display windows and awning to provide a sheltered, outdoor venue for art appreciation.

Visit the Driftless Historium website and search “Driftless Strong 2020” to access a companion virtual gallery containing additional contributed images. For more information, call (608) 437-6486 or email mthorebhistory@mhtc.net.
