Oregon restaurant owners open retail store next door
The owners of La Rocca’s Restaurant and Pizzeria, located on Janesville Street in the village of Oregon, opened a retail store right next door in December, according to a report from the Wisconsin State Journal.
La Rocca’s Imports and Specialties, owned by Vito and Cathy La Rocca, features products made in house, as well as items bought directly from Italy or from a U.S. vendor that buys from the European country.
The store sells fresh take-and-bake food items off the pizzeria’s menu like meatballs, lasagna, penne pasta with marinara sauce, salads, and cold cuts of various meats. Take-and-bake pizza kits with dough made in-house, are coming soon.
The store also sells pasta, olive oils, cookies, gelato, cookware, dishware, and espresso machines, among other Italian specialties.
